A “love of words” is a multi-generational family heirloom. We’ve known scribes reaching back to the Revolutionary War and authors of best-loved novels. Today, for me, I’m fascinated how the structure and accuracy of polished copy can partner with artful word choices. Together, pictures are painted and action is inspired.
Prior to becoming a writer I managed major fundraising galas, planned travel expeditions for donors (locally and abroad), and supported Real Estate professionals. These roles afforded me years of key exposure working with elite clientele (from Major Donors and Presidents to Film Stars), balancing project deadlines, and writing/editing materials which inspire, invite, and inform.
I adore organizing experiences, exceeding expectations, and crafting wow factor. Whether I’m being asked to edit family speeches, essays, teach my kids writing skills at home, or professionally provide copy in my past with Coldwell Banker Realty, National Wildlife Federation, Ridgewells Catering, or Inova Health System, I naturally connect to the needs of others, and take pride in seeing others shine.
Though I’ve lived in the Washington D.C. area for over 35 years, I love to travel and am from the west. I truly enjoy wide-open spaces, dramatic scenery, nature, and local flavor. Married in Ravello, Italy, my husband and I are always eager to experience the sites, sounds, and architecture of Europe and beyond. Adventure with our twin girls is always on our horizon!
